Terms of service
1. Who we are
Speakerfolio builds websites for public speakers, trainers and coaches. It is run by Saleh, a web designer based in Sylhet, Bangladesh. By requesting a website, using one, or sending us a message, you agree to these terms. Questions: projectui.saleh@gmail.com.
2. Free websites
We design, write and host a one-page website for you at yourname.speakerfolio.com at no cost, using one of our six free templates. We write it from your LinkedIn profile and the links you send. You review a private preview before it goes live, and you get limited admin access to update your details. In return, your site shows a small designer credit in its footer. Your free site stays online for as long as you use it. If we ever change the free plan, we will email you at least 60 days before and send you a copy of your content.
3. Your content
You own the bio, photos, videos, talk descriptions and testimonials on your site, including the text we write for you from your profile. You give us permission to show them on your site and to use your site as an example of our work. You can withdraw that permission by removing your site.
You confirm that what you send is accurate and that you have the right to use it. That includes permission from anyone whose quote, logo or photo appears on your site.
4. What's not allowed
No false claims about credentials, clients or results. No content you don't have the rights to. Nothing illegal, hateful or misleading. We may edit or remove content that breaks these rules, and we'll tell you why.
5. Booking requests
Event planners contact you through the booking form on your site. Each request goes straight to you. Speakerfolio is not a party to any agreement between you and a planner and takes no booking fee. Fees, contracts, travel and cancellations are agreed between you and the planner.
6. Premium website
Premium, $500 a year: a custom design on your own domain, as many pages as you need, full admin access, a full AI visibility setup with basic SEO, no designer credit, and a redirect from your Speakerfolio address so shared links keep working. Launch offer: if you order while the launch offer is running, you pay $100 a year instead, and that price stays for as long as you renew.
Hosting included: Premium sites run on our servers at no extra cost, with an SSL certificate, backups and updates. The domain itself is registered in your name and paid for by you, so it always stays yours.
First month of social media design included: 20 post designs in your brand for the month after your Premium site goes live.
7. Social media design
$40 a month for 20 post designs in your website's colours and fonts, with captions. Available on the free and Premium plans. Posts are delivered as images you can use however you like. Unused posts don't carry over. Billed monthly, and you can stop any time before the next billing date.
8. Payments and refunds
Premium is paid only after you approve your design. Work on social media posts starts after payment. Prices may change for new orders, never for work already paid for. If we haven't started work, you get a full refund. Once work has started or been delivered, payments aren't refunded. Months of social media design already started aren't refunded.
9. Removing your site
You can ask us to remove your site at any time by email. We may remove a site that breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why.
10. Our responsibility
We work to keep every site online and secure, but we provide the service as it is and can't promise it will never be interrupted. We aren't responsible for bookings, payments or disputes between speakers and planners. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Changes and governing law
If we change these terms, we'll update the date above and email you about anything important at least 14 days before it applies. These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
Privacy policy
What we collect
When you request a website: your name, email, LinkedIn profile, any YouTube link, your chosen plan and template, and the public information on the profiles you send us. When you send a question: your name, email and message. From every visitor: basic, anonymous visit statistics.
How we use it
To build and run your website, reply to your questions, pass booking requests from your site to you, and email you about your site, your plan and social media design. We only send marketing emails if you ask for them.
Who we share it with
Details you choose to publish are public on your site. Booking requests sent through your site go to you. We use a few service providers to run Speakerfolio: our web host, our email service and a privacy-friendly analytics tool. Each one only gets the data it needs to do its job. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Your details are kept while your site is live, plus 2 months after it closes. Questions and requests that did not become a site are kept for 12 months. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to run the site and count visits with a privacy-friendly analytics tool. No advertising cookies.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing projectui.saleh@gmail.com. We reply within two working days.
